Olaf Schubert alias Michael Haubold war zunächst in Sachsen als Musiker aktiv, wo er seit 1994 mit Jochen M. Barkas und "Herrn Stephan" in der Band "Die Rockys" Konzerte gab. Bundesweit bekannt als Komiker wurde er dann durch seine Fernsehauftritte in den Sendungen "Quatsch Comedy Club" und "Nightwash". Seitdem ist er regelmäßiger Gast diverser Comedy-Sendungen und gehört zur festen Besetzung der "ZDF-heute-show". Seit 2010 ist er auf 3sat in seiner eigenen Show "Olaf TV – Von Schubert zu Mensch" zu sehen. Schubert's Markenzeichen sind sein Rautenpullunder und seine Wortakrobatik, die er in gespielter Unsicherheit vorträgt. Olaf Schubert wurde vielfach ausgezeichnet, u.a. mit dem Deutschen Comedypreis. Er ist verheiratet und seit 2012 Vater.
