The 3rd annual Dalkey Book Festival was bigger and better than ever and kicked off on Friday the 15th June. For three days, books of every kind was celebrated and brought to life by their authors. This year, the line up included local writers and those who have a particular affection for Dalkey such as Maeve Binchy, Joseph OConnor, Carlo Gebler, Dermot Healy, Martina Devlin and John Waters. Festival directors, David McWilliams and Sian Smyth worked with the support of a superb team of volunteers and the Dalkey Business Group to ensure the festivals success.
